Jesus travels to Emmaus with two disciples that don’t recognize Him. He explains the part of scripture that they fail to see. Over a meal they recognize Jesus and He vanishes. They rush back to Jerusalem to find the other disciples to tell them the good news; Jesus is alive. He has risen from the dead just as He promised.
