Joshua 1:6-18
Joshua is called on to lead the children of Israel into the Promised Land. As a new leader he is encouraged to "be strong and courageous". The reason for this is that the LORD our God has promised to go before and to be with him all the days of his life. This promise is still being kept today as we have the Holy Spirit living in us.
